NSU | Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)
North South University’s Department of Law offers a four-year, full-time Bachelor of Laws (LL.B Honors) program, designed to cultivate future leaders in Bangladesh’s legal profession, including lawyers, judges, scholars, and activists. This program also provides a strong foundation for various other careers, such as politics, policy work, and government service, by developing valuable oratory, academic, and professional skills. The department’s primary objective is to deliver a world-class legal education that prepares students for legal practice at the national, regional, and global levels, encompassing both the public and private sectors. The LL.B program covers not only the practical aspects of the Bangladesh legal system but also its theoretical and normative underpinnings, including comparisons with other common law systems internationally. The Department of Law boasts a dedicated faculty, including external experts, who consistently strive to update the curriculum.
General Requirements
- Combined GPA of 8.0 in both SSC and HSC with minimum GPA 3.5 in each
OR - GCE O-Levels and A-Levels: O-Levels in five subjects with a minimum Average Grade Point of 2.5 and A-Levels in two subjects with a minimum Average Grade Point of 2.0. Only one ‘E’ Grade is acceptable in combined O & A-Levels. (scale A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2 & E=1)
OR - US High School Diploma, IB Diploma Programme (IB-DP) or equivalent.

Admission Test: Candidates must take and pass the NSU Admission Test.
