SUB | Bachelor of Laws (LLB)

Established in 2009, the Department of Law aims to produce skilled legal professionals to uphold the rule of law in Bangladesh. It boasts faculty from top institutions, including the University of Dhaka and Bangladesh Judicial Service, with Dr. Asif Nazrul as its advisor. The department offers specialized training for competitive exams like those of the Bangladesh Bar Council and Judicial Service Commission. Graduates pursue careers as judges, advocates, civil servants, and legal experts. The department has also excelled in international moot court competitions, securing runner-up in the 2016 Henry Dunant Moot Court Competition.

General Requirements

• For Students Under national curriculum: Minimum CGPA 2.5 both in SSC & HSC or Equivalent.
• For students from English medium curriculum: O -Level: 5 courses with minimum CGPA 2.5 A -Level: 2 courses with minimum CGPA 2.5
