BUFT | B. Sc. in Knitwear Engineering (KE)

The Bachelor of Science in Knitwear Engineering at BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) is designed to equip students with specialized knowledge in knit fabric production, garment technology, and textile engineering. The program covers key areas such as yarn and fabric manufacturing, knitting technology, quality control, supply chain management, and sustainable textile production. 

Through practical training, industry visits, and hands-on projects, students develop expertise in modern knitting machinery and production techniques. With BUFT’s strong industry connections, graduates are well-prepared for careers in knitwear manufacturing, product development, quality assurance, and textile research, making significant contributions to Bangladesh’s booming apparel sector.

General Admission Requirements

•     S.S.C & H.S.C/ Equivalent (Science Background with minimum GPA-2.50)
•     O Level : 5 Subjects & A Level : 2 Subjects
•     Point: Minimum B Grade / GPA 4.00 in 4 subjects & Minimum C Grade /GPA 3.50 in 3 subjects). Out of 7 subjects. Points:A-5,B – 4,C- 3.5 ,D- 2 , E-1
